NBA Trade Deadline priority: Figure out a long-term plan for Zion Williamson 

I know, I know. You might be saying that Zion Williamson has nothing to do with the NBA Trade Deadline. However, I’d argue that he does. The New Orleans Pelicans need to find out what the future holds with Zion and the team.

Is this a bad situation in which Zion is just buying time – rehabbing away from the team – before he tries to flex his muscle with a power move to ask for a trade? Or is he a foundational piece of the team moving forward?

The team has to figure out that before they make any big moves at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline.
