NBA Trade Deadline priority: Trade Ben Simmons 

For the love of the game, the Philadelphia 76ers need to do whatever it takes to end the drama and trade Ben Simmons at the NBA Trade Deadline. It’s pretty clear that he doesn’t want to play for the Sixers and the Sixers would be better off with realizing that.

I know Daryl Morey and the franchise is trying to maintain leverage by saying that they still don’t prefer to trade him, but they’re not fooling anyone. The Sixers have been a good team for most of the year, but are nowhere near a championship contender at the moment.

If they don’t want to waste another year of Joel Embiid’s prime, it’s imperative that they trade Simmons and get him some help for the second half of the season.
