NBA Trade Rumors: 3 possible Russell Westbrook landing spots

If Westbrook hits the open market, there’s no question one of the favorites to potentially land him will be the Oklahoma City Thunder. The big question is whether or not he’s at that place in his career – I’m not so sure he is.

I’m not sure that the 33-year-old Westbrook is ready for his farewell tour – which that would essentially be should he sign with the Thunder. And, quite frankly, I’m not sure the Thunder would want that as they are trying to tank and develop their young players.

That said, it wouldn’t be surprising. If Russ wanted to repair some of his reputation, there might not be a better place to do that than in OKC where the fans would have nothing but love for him.
