NBA Trade Rumors: 3 possible Russell Westbrook landing spots

The New Orleans Pelicans make some sense? They missed out on adding a point guard during the offseason and are still somewhat in the playoff chase. The Pelicans find themselves four games back of the eighth seed and perhaps Westbrook can give this team a boost during the second half of the season.

Especially if it is just a deal for the remainder of the season, I don’t see why the Pelicans wouldn’t take the gamble. Even more so if there’s no guarantee that Zion Williamson is going to return this season.

There’s no question that Westbrook could help the Pelicans. I’m not sure how much he’ll be able to help the team and their potential playoff push, but it may be worth a flier if they’re serious about making a push toward the postseason.
