The NBA Trade Deadline is less than two weeks away and there are many teams that are expected to be extremely active – ranging from both buyers and sellers. It’s one of the most exciting times of the year, and this season we could see a bit more activity than usual.

It’s difficult to pinpoint one overwhelming favorite to win the championship this season – though, the Phoenix Suns are the closest thing – and a case can be made for at least eight teams that can seriously make a deep run in the playoffs.

The trade deadline is where each one of those teams could solidify their chances as contenders in their respective conferences. At the same rate, there are plenty of big names that are either on the trade market or should be on the trade market.
