NBA Trade Rumors: 9 big names who should be traded and possible deals

Potential deal: 

Detroit Pistons get: Dorian Finney-Smith, Jalen Brunson, Maxi Kleber, 2022 first-round pick 

Dallas Mavericks get: Jerami Grant, Josh Jackson  

It’s tough to project what exactly the Detroit Pistons could realistically get for Jerami Grant on the open market, but I would assume that it’s probably less than what many expect that they’re going to get for him if they trade him at the deadline.

Though, making this deal with the Dallas Mavericks would give them a couple of young players and an additional first-round draft pick.

For the Mavs, by acquiring Grant, they get another “star” that they could sell to the franchise next to Luka Doncic. Plus, adding Grant could help take some of the pressure off of Kristaps Porzingis. The Mavs would get a strong contributor to help this team cement themselves as a dangerous dark horse in the Western Conference.
