Potential deal: 

Atlanta Hawks get: Derrick White, Thaddeus Young, 2024 first-round pick (top 10 protected)

San Antonio Spurs get: John Collins, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot

There are whispers that suggest that it would be a shock if John Collins was a member of the Atlanta Hawks past the NBA Trade Deadline. I’m still bullish on that but I do believe that there’s a chance he could be moved.

One interesting spot would be the San Antonio Spurs. On the rebuilding Spurs, Collins could be the No. 1 option and could thrive in one of the best developmental organizations in the league.

The Hawks get, in exchange, a quality shooting guard to play off of Trae Young and fill the depth lost in the frontcourt with Thaddeus Young. They would also receive a first-round pick as a parting gift.
