The Miami Heat will likely enter the playoffs as a team that many view as a dark horse threat to win the Eastern Conference. Even if they were to finish as the 1-seed in the regular season, I don’t believe many will view this team as a favorite heading into the playoffs.

Because of the competition that awaits them in the playoffs, it will be vital for this team to add some reinforcements at the NBA Trade Deadline. And while this team doesn’t have any glaring weaknesses on the roster, there is always room for improvement.

If the Heat is going to make a deep playoff run, they’re going to need all hands on deck, need everyone healthy, and probably going to need to make a move to improve their depth at the deadline. Heading into next week, we take a look at four players that the team could target at the deadline.
