NBA Trade Rumors: 4 players the Miami Heat should target at the deadline

Miami Heat trade target: Eric Gordon, G, Houston Rockets

Following the line of bolstering up the depth in the team’s backcourt, one potential target that could arise between now and the trade deadline is Eric Gordon. He still has very much left in the tank and could absolutely help a contending team such as the Heat.

In a limited role, Gordon 14 points and three assists on 50 percent shooting from the field and 44 percent shooting from 3-point range. I think it often gets forgotten that Gordon is only 33 years old and in a limited role could be all the difference for a team like the Heat.

I’m not sure if Miami would be willing to pay the price that it would likely cost for Gordon, but they should at the very least explore the possibility of it. Gordon would not only add depth to the guard position but could also help ease the pressure off of Tyler Herro on the second unit.
