8. Serge Ibaka, LA Clippers

The Ibaka experience has just not panned out for the LA Clippers. He has dealt with rather significant injuries and now that he’s regained some health, he’s lost a lot of minutes to Isaiah Hartenstein (who’s been great this year btw!).

The Clippers are on the market for a point guard and Ibaka is one player reportedly available. He is still a good 3-point shooter and has been the lynchpin for contending teams’ defenses in the past. I’d take a chance on Ibaka if what you are sending out is minimal.

7. Montrezl Harrell, Washington Wizards

Hoooo boy, the Washington Wizards are depressing. Epic collapses and losing streaks have led to the Wizards making “basically anyone” beyond Bradley Beal available for trade at the deadline. That means the former 6MOY may find himself on his fourth team in three seasons.

The positives with Trezz are clear. He plays hard no matter what and can find the rim easily in the paint. He rebounds like someone several inches taller.

But, the negatives are clear as well. Playoff teams have no choice to bench him due to his PnR defense. He is not a switch big by any means, and he is not a masterful executor of drop coverage. If you need someone to soak up minutes but not to rely on when it gets to crunch time, Trezz is your man.
