Three reasons why Victor Oladipo’s looming return will boost the Miami Heat during the push toward the playoffs.

Despite pre-season pushback from the general mainstream media, the Miami Heat has defied the odds to navigate through another pandemic season to find itself near the top of the Eastern Conference standings.

More than midway through the 2021-22 NBA season, the Heat finds itself at 33-20 and second in the East standings. With the NBA Trade Deadline on the horizon – specifically, less than a week away – there is a natural question of whether this team will make a significant upgrade.

Though, that’s far from a given. Even if the Heat isn’t able to make a substantial upgrade at the deadline, the team should feel good about their chances of playing a better brand of basketball during the second half of the season.

According to a recent report, Oladipo is nearing his return.

Even though we haven’t seen a 100 percent version of Oladipo in a few seasons, there are reasons to believe that even if he doesn’t return to his all-star status that he could still have a big impact on the Heat during the second half of the season.

We explore three reasons how – and why – Oladipo can boost the Heat during the push toward the postseason.
