NBA Trade Deadline bold prediction No. 5: The Atlanta Hawks will trade John Collins

For much of the season, the Atlanta Hawks have been very much a hit-or-miss team. They have no consistency and even though Trae Young has been really good this season, John Collins hasn’t been as impactful as a No. 2 as the Hawks would like.

Many will not view this as a “bold prediction” but I still believe that it would be, for the most part, viewed as surprising if the Hawks actually went ahead in trading Collins. I believe that the Hawks aren’t going to think twice about doing so.

By the time the trade deadline comes and goes, Collins will be on a different team and there’s a good chance that it will result in the Hawks taking another step back.
