NBA Trade Deadline bold prediction No. 7: The Portland Trail Blazers will make another dumb move

The Portland Trail Blazers are still recovering from the PR move of trading Normal Powell and Robert Covington for a past-his-prime Eric Bledsoe, the journeyman version of Justise Winslow, and a complete unknown in Keon Johnson. Oh, and a second-round pick.

My bold prediction for the Blazers is that I don’t think they’re done making moves ahead of the trade deadline and I’m not confident that their next move won’t be equally as dumb.

Whether that’s trading C.J. McCollum or Jusuf Nurkic for pennies on the dollar; I just know that the Blazers likely aren’t done making deals ahead of the trade deadline. And I simply don’t believe this team is going to make a smart move.
