Russell Westbrook for John Wall
Let’s face it; there’s not much hope for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. It’s probably best if they bite the bullet and try to trade Russell Westbrook for John Wall. However, in this circumstance, they try to expand the trade even just bigger than a 1-for-1 deal.
This actually isn’t a terrible deal for either side; the Rockets do have to eat Westbrook’s deal, but it’s not like this team is contending anytime soon. Plus, they add a young talent in Kendrick Nunn and a future first-round pick.
The Lakers get off of Westbrook’s contract, add a mystery in Wall, and a valuable, productive veteran in Eric Gordon. Hey, there are worse moves the team can make.
