Grading the NBA blockbuster swap between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers centered around James Harden and Ben Simmons.

The Ben Simmons saga is finally over.

It may have taken a bit longer than expected, but Simmons has a new home with the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers have effectively replaced Simmons with a certified superstar – exactly what Daryl Morey hoped to do when all this mess started.

The official trade is as follows:

  • The Nets will get Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round picks.
  • The Sixers will get James Harden and Paul Millsap.

It was a trade that seemed pretty unlikely until roughly a couple of weeks ago. And since the original idea of a potential deal was birthed, it simply continued and continued to gain steam through the media.

In the end, it’s hard to hate this trade from either perspective. Let’s get to the trade grades for this deal.
