The Miami Heat must feel good about Victor Oladipo’s return

After trading KZ Okpala to the Oklahoma City Thunder and releasing some protections on future picks, the Maimi Heat enter NBA Trade Deadline day with some added flexibility. However, they seemed perfectly fine with standing pat (no pun intended).

That leads me to believe that the Heat is perfectly fine with the landscape of the league as it pertains to their chances of winning a championship this season. Currently, the Heat is the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Further, the expected return of Victor Oladipo should have the team almost equally as excited. The whispers are that he has looked good during his rehab and that his return is soon. If he can get anywhere close to his former self, no one will remember the Heat passing at the deadline.
