Three reasons why the Philadelphia 76ers will win the Eastern Conference with James Harden.

It finally all came to fruition. The long hypothesized deal between the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers all came together on NBA Trade Deadline day. Officially, the Nets traded James Harden and Paul Millsap to the Sixers in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round picks.

The Sixers get the All-NBA talent that they were searching for in any deal for Simmons and Simmons gets what he wanted in a fresh start with a fresh organization. The Sixers will now add Harden to an MVP-level Joel Embiid, which should be quite fascinating to watch.

Philly is just 2.5 games out of first place in the Eastern Conference and the acquisition of Harden should go a long way in this team rounding into a true contender over the last couple of months of the season.

Now that the Sixers have added another superstar next to Embiid, we explore three reasons why this team will win the Eastern Conference with the addition of James Harden.
