10. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks finally made the big move of cutting its losses from the Kristaps Porzingis trade at the NBA Trade Deadline. In exchange, they gained Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans, who were struggling in Washington.

During the push toward the playoffs, it’s going to be interesting to see how far Luka Doncic can carry this roster. It’s going to be a shame to see the Mavs subjected to another early playoff loss. In fact, it’ll be a disservice to Luka if that’s how this all ends.

Dallas has done a terrible job in surrounding him with the right pieces. It hasn’t really gone without trying, but they’ve, overall, done a terrible job of doing so. Either way, Luka is amazing. And his greatness might be enough to help this team make it out of the first round this season.
