4. Memphis Grizzlies

It was easy to fight the idea that the Memphis Grizzlies are one of the five-best teams in the league and one of the three-best teams in the Western Conference, but that is no longer something that can be pushed back against.

The Grizzlies are good, flashy, and for real – and the advanced stats back that claim up. Ja Morant is an absolute superstar and is just getting better with every consecutive day and game. The team’s supporting cast also doesn’t get enough credit. Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. have been really good this season and Dillon Brooks has only played a fraction of the games this season.

I’m not sure if Memphis has what it takes to beat the likes of the Suns and Warriors in a seven-game series in the playoffs, but I can’t wait to see them try.
