16. Atlanta Hawks

It was somewhat shocking to see inactivity from the Atlanta Hawks at the NBA Trade Deadline. However, at the same time, it was probably only fair to allow this team to play out this season after they made it to the conference finals a year ago.

15. Minnesota Timberwolves

With the excellent play of Anthony Edwards, this finally feels like the year that the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to make it back to the playoffs – or, at the very least, back to the Play-In Tournament.

(maybe that counts as the playoffs?)

Either way, the Wolves have been exciting for the first time in every long time.
