The Brooklyn Nets are in the midst of a rough patch in the season but there is hope that they can turn it all around before the start of the playoffs – if they can hold on to a spot. The biggest hope is that Kevin Durant appears to be nearing a return to the lineup.

With no sign of when Ben Simmons is going to play this season, the is a role for Goran Dragic if he wants to join the Nets. As long as Simmons is not with the team, they currently don’t have a true point guard on the roster and desperately lack playmaking.

Dragic could join the Nets and help fill the void until Simmons or Durant returns. And then when those players do return, Dragic will offer the Nets added depth that they’ll need for their postseason run.
