NBA Rumors: 3 best landing spots for buyout candidate Goran Dragic

The Los Angeles Lakers are an interesting possibility for Goran Dragic. He would be a huge asset to the team that’s trying to figure out a way to get Russell Westbrook off the floor. Even though it still seems like the Lakers are running against a brick wall with this current roster construction, Dragic would help.

Dragic is a better 3-point shooter than Westbrook and can’t be a worse fit next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis than Westbrook is. This is not to say that Dragic would completely replace Westbrook in the starting lineup, but would at least give the Lakers options.

And, at this point, options are something that the Lakers simply don’t have. If adding Dragic effectively does that for the Lakers, there’s no question they should pursue it. And the Lakers might be the team that offers Dragic the biggest role.
