NBA Rumors: Ranking and predicting where each of the buyout candidates could land.

NBA Trade Deadline season is officially over and the NBA buyout season is just about to begin. This is the time when (generally) veteran players seek buyouts from their contracts with their current teams in an attempt to land on a team that will either be contending for a title or a playoff berth during the second half of the season.

This season will be no different and there are already several “big-name” players that are expected to be possible buyout candidates over the next couple of weeks. The only rule is that players that are bought out need to be signed to a new team by March 1 to be eligible for the postseason.

There are still a few weeks before that deadline which suggests we could be in for an entertaining next few weeks as teams look to finalize their final rosters to prepare for the postseason. We rank and predict where we believe a few of the buyout candidates for this season will land.
