9. Portland Trail Blazers (via NO) – Johnny Davis, G, Wisconsin

With back-to-back picks in the top 10, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Portland Trail Blazers weighed the possibility of trading these two picks for a superstar. However, assuming that the Blazers make these two selections, it wouldn’t be surprising if one of these was for a guard.

And why not take the chance on one of the most offensive-gifted guards in this draft. Johnny Davis is exactly that as he’s averaging 21 points and eight rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field during his sophomore season at Wisconsin.

As the Blazers attempt to retool around Damian Lillard, Davis would be an interesting pick. But it could bring more questions than answers.
