17. Minnesota Timberwolves – Jeremy Sochan, F, Baylor
The Minnesota Timberwolves have been one of the best stories so far this season in the Western Conference. They’ve taken a step forward in their development and there’s a good chance that they make the playoffs this season.
However, they could use some help on the defensive side of the floor. Selecting a defensive specialist with their first-round pick would be a solid move for the Wolves at the draft. Of the players that fit the mold, Jeremy Sochan would be a fit.
Sochan is only averaging eight points and six rebounds per game but is one of the most versatile defenders in college basketball. He’d be an interesting addition for the Wolves.
