2. Orlando Magic – Chet Holmgren, F/C, Gonzaga

If there’s one thing that the Orlando Magic love when it comes to NBA Draft prospects, it’s tall and long players. Over the past few years, they’ve drafted Franz Wagner, Mo Bamba, and Jonathan Isaac that fit that bill.

It wouldn’t be surprising if they continued down that recent trend and select Chet Holmgren with the No. 2 pick if he’s available. Holmgren is an interesting prospect and doesn’t have a clear NBA comp. That’s part of what makes him an intriguing but also somewhat of a risk.

That said, the ceiling on Holmgren is high if he can remain healthy and continue to develop as a player. That might not be something the rebuilding Magic are willing to not take a chance on.
