7th seed – Brooklyn Nets

For the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference, I believe it will come down to the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors – I believe Boston Celtics have found their footing and find it hard to believe that they’re going to give up much ground during the stretch run.

There’s a good chance that the Celtics haven’t even played their best basketball of the season. That leaves the Nets as having to make the playoffs via the play-in tournament. Kevin Durant is likely going to return to prevent this team from sliding any further down the standings but Kyrie Irving is only eligible for a handful of games down the stretch and I’m not sure if anyone knows when Ben Simmons is going to play.

I don’t envision the Nets making a huge move up the standings but at the same time, I don’t think this team is going to give up much ground either.
