NBA: 3 storylines to watch in the Eastern Conference post-All-Star break
Will the Cleveland Cavaliers keep it up?
Perhaps the biggest surprise in the whole league this season, the Cleveland Cavaliers find themselves at 35-23 and as the 4th seed in the East. Led by 3rd-year point guard and first-time all-star Darius Garland, the Cavs find themselves ahead of teams like the Bucks and the Nets in the standings.
The Cavs did work to improve their roster at the deadline as well, adding veteran guard Caris LeVert to an already solid roster featuring Garland, Jarrett Allen, and Evan Mobley. LeVert has had some injury issues throughout his career, but he is a bucket-getter who can also take on some secondary playmaking duties.
The Cavs have a lot to prove once the regular-season resumes. Once regarded as a team destined for the lottery, the Cavs will have to prove that they can contend in a tough Eastern Conference.
