Which of the NBA MVP favorites truly deserves to win the award?

As the final stretch of the NBA season approaches, the MVP race is still very much going on. Three front-runners sit at the top of the pack right now and will look to make a big push with the playoffs around the corner. Will the award see a brand new winner, or will somebody be taking home yet another NBA MVP?

I guess the requirement for being a finalist this year was to be at least 6-foot-11, as all three candidates are at least that tall. Shooting has become something that is almost required in today’s NBA. Having a big man who can out-rebound almost anyone, pass like a guard, and has exceptional length on defense seems to be the new normal.

The three finalists as of now for the 2022 NBA MVP are:

  • Joel Embid– Philadelphia 76ers (+125)
  • Nikola Jockic– Denver Nuggets (+300)
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo– Milwaukee Bucks (+350)

Who will take home the trophy and honor of being the NBA MVP?
