7th seed – Minnesota Timberwolves

It appears that, barring an epic collapse over the last few weeks of the season, the Minnesota Timberwolves are going to get an opportunity to play themselves into the playoffs. This could be the first time they make the playoffs since 2018  and just the second time since 2004.

So far this season, the Wolves have been fueled by the excellent play of Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. If they get into the postseason, this is certainly a wild card of a team that has the potential to make any matchup interesting.

The Wolves may not be the complete team that it’s going to take to make a deep playoff run, but they have enough talent where they could make life hard for a contender. They have a pretty solid grip on the 7th seed at the moment and I don’t see that changing much over the next few weeks.
