8th seed – LA Clippers

Even though the LA Clippers have been without Paul George and Kawhi Leonard for what feels like the bulk of the season, the team has still done a great of remaining in the top 8 of the conference and it’s hard seeing them giving up a three game lead (in the loss column) to the struggling Los Angeles Lakers.

There’s a small chance that Paul George returns late in the season and if he does, it should give them enough to cement a playoff spot. If he doesn’t, this team has continually shown that they could still win without him.

The Clippers likely aren’t going to make much noise in the postseason, if they get there, but they should be a solid bet to at the very least make the Play-In Tournament in the Western Conference.
