Three concerning trends that could hurt the Golden State Warriors’ championship chances.

Through the first half of the season, give or take a few games, the Golden State Warriors were arguably the best team in the league. It appeared that the dynasty was back on and the team was finally getting healthy.

A championship run was no longer a pipe dream and was looking more and more like a possibility, especially in what many believe to be a wide-open championship race. However, over the past two months, something has been off for the team.

On January 4, the Warriors were 29-7 and had the best record in the league. Since then, though, the Warriors are just 14-12. They dropped to second in the Western Conference standings and are just a half-game ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies.

Even though it would be insane not to consider the Warriors as potential title contenders heading into the playoffs, there are some recent trends that could end up hurting their chances. We take a closer look at each of them.
