Ja Morant’s similarities to Allen Iverson

When it comes to small body point guards who were not afraid to go up against anyone, there are a few names that come to mind, but only two that just flourish through Ja Morant when he plays.

Back in the 2000s, there was a man named Allen Iverson who took the league by storm at just 6-feet tall. A league MVP, numerous all NBA teams and even carrying the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA Finals one season, Ja is the new A.I.

Iverson was around 165 pounds when playing and Ja sits at around 175 pounds. The difference is in height as Ja is taller, but plays as if he was the biggest person on the court each night.

Thinking of a small guard to take the league by storm and dominate anyone that is in front of his path, people cannot help but think of Iverson when watching Morant play.
