Buddy Hield’s trade value is probably comparable to THT’s (he’s better—without a doubt—but way overpriced), meaning that a swap for these players wouldn’t be worth exchanging a first-round pick.
With trades totaling nearly $120M/year, it’s easier to look at this as two separate trades: Brogdon and Turner for Westbrook, two picks and one pick swap; Hield for THT and the other swap. Perhaps the Pacers need more, but this should come close to meeting their demands.
A Lakers starting lineup of Brogdon, Hield, LeBron, AD, and Turner would offer lots of shooting and rim protection. However, this deal probably doesn’t get done if Indiana wants to be back in the playoff hunt next year (but maybe they shouldn’t!).
