Three reasons to believe in the Boston Celtics’ championship chances. 

For much of the season, the championship contenders in the NBA have been well established. In the Western Conference, it’s been the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors, and then everyone else.

In the Eastern Conference, it’s been the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets (depending on who you ask), Milwaukee Bucks, and now Philadelphia 76ers. However, there’s one other team in the East that should be on everyone’s championship radar – the Boston Celtics.

On January 7, the Celtics were 11th in the Eastern Conference. They didn’t look like a playoff threat at all, much less a championship one. However, over the past two months, the Celtics have done an excellent job to change the narrative on it all.

Heading into the stretch run of the season, we explore three reasons to believe in the Celtics’ championship chances.
