Boston Celtics: 3 reasons to believe in the C’s title hopes

The Boston Celtics have a championship defense

Throughout the course of the season, there’s no question that the Celtics have been an up-and-down team. However, one metric that hasn’t been much of an issue for the team this season is their defense. They have consistently been elite on that end of the floor and currently have the best defense in the league.

That’s part of what kept them afloat during the beginning of the season when they were trying to figure themselves out on the offensive end. And it’s something that will likely give them a great shot at making a deep playoff run in the East.

Because of their defensive prowess, they’re probably going to give any team they face in the playoffs all they could handle. I don’t think they’ll be run off the court in any series, even if the one that they may lose.

That’s a dangerous trait to have for a roster this talented.
