The Memphis Grizzlies are a complete team

The Grizzlies are one of four teams that have a top 10 offensive and defensive rating. That is not something to overlook. That suggests that the Grizzlies are a really good team on both ends of the floor. The other teams in that category are the Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, and Golden State Warriors. Great company. I don’t think anyone would argue against any of those teams as contenders.

Additionally, the Grizzlies have the sixth-best net rating in the league. Individually, the Grizzlies have a few rising stars. Ja Morant, who is averaging 28 points, seven assists, and six rebounds per game, is on the verge of superstardom and has been on a tear as of late.

His supporting cast is just as impressive in their own right – Dillon Brooks (18 PPG) has been impressive in the games he’s played in this season, Desmond Bane (18 PPG) continues to make strides in his game, and Jaren Jackson Jr. (16 PPG) has been a really, really good third/fourth option on the team.

It’s fair to be apprehensive about the Grizzlies, but the stats and facts suggest this team can be a threat to win a championship this season.
