9. Portland Trail Blazers (via NOP) – Dyson Daniels, G, G League
With a second first-round pick, the Blazers could target Dyson Daniels. Daniels is another big guard that could be of intrigue to the Blazers. Elected to play in the G League over collegiate basketball, his pre-draft performances will be more important to his draft stock compared to other prospects.
He’s playing more of the point guard position in the G League and proving that he can play both guard positions will be ideal for his draft positioning. He’s shown great poise in the G League, which should bode well for him.
If he can sell teams on being an efficient offensive player, and at the very least a capable defender, there’s no question that he’s going to be a top 10 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
