8. A.J. Griffin, F, Duke

Best team fit: San Antonio Spurs 

It’s a little strange to see the San Antonio Spurs selecting in the top 10, but almost any prospect that lands with the Spurs should be in a good situation. I would love A.J. Griffin as a potential fit with the Spurs.

Griffin is an interesting prospect as some point to him being the best of the Duke draft prospects (no offense to Paolo Banchero, which we’ll talk about later). Griffin, during his freshman season, is averaging 10 points and four rebounds per game on an efficient 50 percent shooting from the field and 46 percent shooting from 3.

Because of his efficiency, you can’t help but wonder just how high his ceiling can be.
