As we inch closer and closer to the end of the regular season, it’s about the time when many will begin to reflect on the 2021-22 NBA campaign. Mostly, the ones that will be doing so are going to be the teams that failed to qualify for the postseason.

Of the many storylines that stole the headlines this season were the handful of teams that either fell short of expectations this season or completely fell on their faces. Teams that were hoping to make big moves this season that didn’t. No matter how you want to spell it out, they all were a bit of a disappointment.

As the end of the season quickly approaches for each one of those teams, we explore three of those non-playoff teams that could end up making noise in their respective conferences next season.
