NBA Trade Rumors: 4 teams that should target Julius Randle this offseason

Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are still a couple of years away from competing for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but adding a young, productive big would go a long way in accelerating this team’s build. Cade Cunningham has come a long way from his season debut and Randle would only help his development.

Plus, Cunningham would also help Randle. The pressure would be off of Randle in having to be the No. 1 option and he would get a fresh start with a new franchise. The spotlight would be off of Randle and hed be able to flourish on a team with some exciting young pieces.

A Jerami Grant swap would work for the Knicks, especially considering that New York would probably be more willing to add a piece such as the former in an attempt to win now. Sometimes a step back is needed for a step forward – perhaps for both the Pistons and Knicks.
