2. Houston Rockets – Chet Holmgren, C, Gonzaga

The Houston Rockets already have a strong young core and they will be looking to add to it with another projected top 3 pick. This time by selecting Chet Holmgren with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.

Holmgren is an interesting prospect. His potential is through the roof – it’s amazing what he can do as a 7-footer – but there is still some mystery regarding him as a prospect. That does not take away from the appeal, however.

A frontcourt combination of Holmgren and Christian Wood would be quite interesting for the Rockets heading into next season. Couple that with their talented backcourt and this team could be an interesting watch next year.
