The Clippers are a veteran team

Roughly every player in the Clippers’ rotation heading into the playoffs has postseason experience, including most of the core pieces of the team. They have made deep playoff runs before and know what it takes to get the job done.

That’s another key for an underdog team if they’re looking to make an upset, they need to be able to play well under pressure and that’s exactly what veterans do best. Many players on the Clippers may not be at the peak of their careers, but they still hold value in specific roles.

Add Paul George to a veteran-laden team and the Clippers could be dangerous in a seven-game series. Even more so potentially against an inexperienced team such as the Memphis Grizzlies.
