Von Voyage Vogel

Frank Vogel’s tenure with the Lakers has been underwhelming to sum things up shortly, Vogel has been in LA for three seasons, and it went like this; title, first-round exit, missed the play-in, and playoffs entirely.

That is simply not good enough. Did Vogel have enough talent to coach? Not really. Should the Lakers be in the play-in? Absolutely. Should they be in the playoffs? Probably. Vogel should have done more to maximize the talent he did possess, he didn’t and now he is presumably heading out the door.

According to recent reports, there are already a couple of names to keep an eye on that could be linked to the Lakers’ head-coaching job during the offseason.
