As the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets prepare to face off in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, we explore three big questions and a prediction.

All 16 teams in the 2022 NBA playoffs have one common goal. Be the last team standing with the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy in hand. Sadly, 15 of those teams will not be able to. Playoffs bring out a new level of intensity and that only makes the game that much better to watch.

Some match-ups are still not finalized, while others are. Meeting up in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs are the three-seed Golden State Warriors vs. the six-seed Denver Nuggets and reigning Most Valuable Player (MVP), Nikola Jokic.

This is a heavy-weight fight in the first round. These are two teams you would not expect to be bounced this early, but somebody has to lose the series. Will Jokic be able to take down the splash brothers, or are the Warriors getting ready for another deep playoff run?
