Three questions and a prediction in anticipation of the first-round playoff series between the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors.

The 2022 NBA Playoffs are just a few days away and while the Play-In Tournament is still not concluded, six of the eight first-round matchups are officially set. And one of the most intriguing matchups in the Eastern Conference features the 4-5 pairing between the Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors.

On paper, these two teams may not be equally matched in the traditional NBA sense but there is a growing feeling that this could be one of the first-round matchups that is too difficult to predict what exactly will happen.

With Joel Embiid and James Harden headlining this series, the star power is not missing. Not to mention Doc Rivers, who is trying to get Philadelphia over the hump in the East. After last year’s premature ending in the postseason as the No. 1 seed, the Sixers will be trying to make a deep run as somewhat of an underdog this season.

First things first, the Sixers must get through the Raptors. Ahead of the start of this series, we explore three big questions (and a prediction) that could end up deciding this matchup.
