Prediction

This prediction should not be considered a slight to the New Orleans Pelicans. They are a truly talented team but with how dominant the Suns have been this season, it’s hard to imagine them having an issue with New Orleans.

Phoenix was 1-3 head-to-head against the Pelicans this season. And won each of those games pretty handily. I believe Chris Paul and Devin Booker will dominate in the backcourt and Deandre Ayton will do what he needs in the frontcourt.

The Pelicans should use their late-season success to catapult them into next season, but this is a matchup that they appear to be in over their heads. And that’s OK.
