8. Sacramento Kings – A.J. Griffin, F, Duke
The Sacramento Kings, once again, failed to qualify for the postseason this year and are destined for another top 10 selection in the NBA Draft. They have some big questions to ask this offseason, but they should absolutely be taking the best player available when they pick in the draft.
One potential option is A.J. Griffin, who projects to be a 3-and-D right away in the NBA and possibly more if he develops as many predict he could. Griffin could fill a need for the Kings, especially if this is finally the offseason in which they trade Harrison Barnes.
The knock on Griffin is that many believe he could have a limited ceiling. However, he keeps rising up draft boards.
