11. Portland Trail Blazers (via NOP) – Dyson Daniels, G, G League
After taking a big chance on a guard prospect earlier in this draft, look for Portland to take another swing on Dyson Daniels with the 11th overall pick. This could also be a pick that the Blazers elect to trade as they continue to retool around Damian Lillard.
Either way, the hope is that the Blazers could use this asset – whether that be via the draft or trade – to improve the roster and get Lillard the help he needs after the team traded CJ McCollum at the deadline.
Daniels is still very much a raw prospect but there are skills and attributes that suggest he could end up being one of the very best guard prospects in this class. A worthy late-lottery selection.
