NBA Mock Draft 6.0: Spurs jump into top 3; Lakers offload Russell Westbrook
7. Portland Trail Blazers – Shaedon Sharpe, G, Kentucky
Shaedon Sharpe didn’t play a minute of collegiate basketball, but there’s a very good chance that he could see his stock rise over the next couple of months. And considering the uncertainty that surrounds the Portland Trail Blazers, they could absolutely be an option.
He was a highly-touted prospect out of high school and that may be too much to pass on for many NBA teams selecting late in the top 10. The book on Sharpe is that he’s an elite athlete with natural scoring ability.
If Sharpe has a good showing in pre-draft workouts, there’s no question that he should be able to continue to rise up draft boards.
